With one week to go till this years Suffolk Show our very own Bee Kemball – Honorary Suffolk Show Director – talks all things fashion.
Bee says: “The Suffolk Show is one of those wonderful occasions when us girls can really pull out all the stops, but you need to get it right to feel comfortable to tackle whatever you have planned for the day.
Like a wedding, when you go to the Suffolk Show, you have to look smart and elegant, but you are likely to be dressed up all day and into the evening. I can be moving between the cattle lines at 6am, then be heading into President’s lunch, and still be on my feet enjoying the band that evening – so think practically, as well as indulging your tastes.
My advice – wear a dress that you can be comfortable in all day, you don’t want to be tugging at a hem or holding your breath. If you have to arrive early like me, a warm dress-length coat is ideal, then, if the sun comes out, the outer layer comes off and you’re ready for lunch.
Accessories are also very important if you want to look smart and be comfortable – I always have a pretty printed scarf in my handbag as they can jazz up any dress, as well as keeping you warm, or covering red shoulders. Handbag choice may seem like over-thinking things, but you don’t want to be lugging round a heavy bag with things you won’t need – or not have enough room to fit your shades, phone, essentials etc Shoes; there is a very simple rule – if new, break them in, but even better, wear a tried and tested pair, and stick flats in your bag to slip on when you need to.
We are excited to have received two new Volvo FH Trucks to further expand our fleet.
Ground-breaking features put the Volvo FH in a class of its own.
This truck is developed for the transport requirements of the future. And it shows: in features like the individual front suspension, the I-Shift Dual Clutch and the functional, fuel-saving cab design.
The smartest gearbox is now even smarter. I-Shift Dual Clutch is the world’s first dual clutch transmission system for heavy trucks. It changes gear in a fraction of a second. And it produces a steady flow of power that will transform the way you drive – and boost productivity.
Volvo FH is the first serially-produced heavy truck ever to be available with individual front suspension. Its front wheels can move vertically, independently of each other. Meanwhile, rack and pinion steering puts the driver in direct contact with the wheels. This results in the kind of handling and driving comfort that you’d expect from a car.
With only 5 weeks to go till this years Suffolk Show our Managing Director Bee Kemball has been very busy as she is the Honorary Suffolk Show Director again his year. Yesterday the first ever smartphone app was launched for visitors to the Suffolk Show.
The app will be available to download on Tuesday 1st May.
Here Bee talks about the exciting new App…
Our very own Siân Abbott took on the Brighton Marathon yesterday 15th April 2018, her forth marathon under her belt!
She knew it was never going to be easy as she had been plagued with injury throughout training – she just wanted to complete it and that she did!
Siân was over the moon to complete the marathon in a very impressive 4 hours 29 minutes and 37 seconds – we are all very proud of her – Well done Siân 🙂
